A “mountain” experience for everyone: admire a 360° panorama on a platform extended over the void at the top of Sistron; climb one of the 10 routes of the Belvédère trail; try the highest adventure park in Europe: the “Isoliane”, through a forest of larches and firs. There are other activities to be enjoyed in the heart of the resort such as minigolf, tennis, riding school, trampoline, archery … Summer in Isola 2000 is where children reign supreme with specially designed treasure hunts in the “Country Kids” recreation centre.
Mountain biking and cycling for all levels
Isola 2000 is also a Bike Park that grows year after year. Thanks to the cable car taking you to the altitude of 2,400m and serving 8 trails for all levels, the resort is one of the best mountain biking spots in the Alpes-Maritimes. Those who like longer walks should not miss out on the 15 km trail that connects Isola 2000 station to Isola village below. For about an hour, you can pedal along the rivers Chastillon and Guerche, between larches and pines to the village’s chestnut grove. New this year is the Northshore zone (blue level), with wooden footbridges and modules, located upstream of the departure station of the Mercantour cable car.
Isola Village, authentic and natural
At the foot of the resort, at an altitude of 875 metres, Isola is a mountain village with narrow streets, pretty fountains and beautiful old houses. The village combines authenticity and naturalness. Enjoy the freshness of this village alongside the Tinée. Fancy a swim? The Aquavallée Water Centre is open every day with slide, hammam, jacuzzi, sauna and squash court.
